Old Logie Kirk:
Below a wooded crag to the west of the university you will find the ruin of Old Logie Kirk. This romantically ruined church and graveyard dates back to around 1684. It dates back to medieval times and has been the subject of much study by historians. Within the circular kirkyard there is a rich heritage of 17th and 18th century carved gravestones. The trade emblems carved on the stones give an interesting insight into the occupations of the previous generations of Bridge of Allan and the surrounding area.
