Paterson Clock:
The Paterson clock is a central landmark in Bridge of Allan. The clock is a menorial to Alexander Paterson a local doctor, distinguished botanist and horticulturist with an international reputation growing tropical plants, tree ferns and orchids in his garden.

The 3 faces of the clock enable you to see the time from either end of henderson street or as you come down mine road. It also used to serve as a drinking fountain probably for travellers passing through Bridge of Allan as henderson street used to be the main route north.
